Our Firm

Built on judgment. Proven in trial.

Reynolds Gillette is a Colorado litigation and trial boutique representing clients in business and financial disputes, professional and fiduciary misconduct matters, and judgment enforcement proceedings throughout Colorado.

The Firm

Who We Are

Clients come to Reynolds Gillette when businesses, ownership interests, investments, judgments, professional reputations, or financial security are at risk. Disputes are rarely just legal problems. They are often business problems, financial problems, reputational problems, and personal problems. The firm is built on the belief that those disputes deserve direct representation by experienced counsel, practical judgment, and a focused strategy designed to advance the client's objectives.

Representation

Direct Representation

Clients work directly with experienced counsel from the beginning of the engagement through resolution. Reynolds Gillette does not rely on layers of staffing, repeated handoffs, or unnecessary complexity. The attorneys responsible for developing strategy are the same attorneys responsible for taking depositions, appearing in court, conducting arbitrations, trying cases, and pursuing recovery.

Clients should not have to repeatedly educate new lawyers about their dispute as a matter moves through a firm. Direct attorney involvement allows clients to work with the lawyers responsible for strategy, decision-making, and advocacy throughout the life of the matter.

Philosophy

Judgment Before Activity

Litigation can become expensive, distracting, and unnecessarily complicated when activity replaces strategy. Reynolds Gillette believes disputes require thoughtful analysis, practical judgment, and a focused plan built around the client's objectives.

Every case is different. Some disputes should be resolved quickly. Others require extensive discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, arbitration proceedings, agency proceedings, or judgment enforcement efforts. The goal is not to generate activity. The goal is to advance the client's interests.

Courtroom

Prepared for Trial and Arbitration

Many disputes resolve through negotiation. Others do not.

Trial and arbitration experience influence case evaluation, settlement discussions, discovery decisions, and overall strategy long before a courtroom or hearing room is involved. Lawyers who are prepared to present a case through verdict or award often approach litigation differently from the outset.

Because some disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation, Reynolds Gillette maintains an active trial and arbitration practice that includes jury trials, bench trials, commercial arbitrations, FINRA arbitrations, agency proceedings, appeals, and post-judgment enforcement matters. When resolution is not possible, the firm is prepared to present the case and pursue the client's objectives through verdict, award, or judgment.

Approach

Our Approach

Clients rarely seek litigation for its own sake. They seek solutions to problems that threaten businesses, ownership interests, investments, judgments, financial security, or professional reputations.

Reynolds Gillette approaches every matter with the same objective: understand what is at stake, develop a practical strategy, and pursue the outcome that best advances the client's objectives through litigation, trial, arbitration, judgment enforcement, negotiation, or recovery efforts.

In appropriate matters, the firm may consider alternative fee arrangements when doing so aligns the interests of the client and the firm.
